I think I’m falling in love… with London. The weather today was absolutely beautiful, with the slight breeze and the cool summer sun. I couldn’t wait to get off work and walk around. Just anywhere, out in the beautiful day. Sharp @ 6pm, I got off work, took a quick shower and headed off towards Notting Hill. I let my feet and my heart guide my walking.
It took me down a street with designer boutiques, mostly by celebrities (ie. Sienna Miller). It was shortly followed by a row of shops selling bargain and retro clothes for less than GBP5. Not long after, I found myself in a bookstore at Notting Hill Gate. I miss bookstores. The smell of new books with its untouched pages gives me a sense of euphoria, like a good cuppa.
